Please pack up your order the way you got it with as much information as you can.  The more information you include, the faster we can process it.  Please include:

  1. The name on your order (usually your account name or credit card name of the purchaser)
  2. Your contact information, including email and a daytime phone number
  3. Information about your exchange, including sizing and colors
  4. Your shipping information, if you want us to send something back
All items must be in *brand-new* condition for return or exchange.  Please pack it up the way you got in, including the original, undamaged inner packaging, if there is any.  You don't need to send back the stickers and other schwag we gave you, just the merchandise you're exchanging or returning.

Most items are covered by limited factory warranties for defects or damage in materials and workmanship.  Roller Derby is tough on gear; normal wear and tear is not warrantied. We'll help you sort out warranty issues with the manufacturers as painlessly as we can.  Sometimes that can be as easy as sending the manufacturer a photo that documents the issue.  Other times they must inspect the item at the factory.  You will almost never need to send your gear to us. Please contact us to discuss it and we'll help you get things right.

Manufacturer warranties are VOIDED for both unmounted boots and unmounted plates if YOU mount them. Most warranties are very clear: you must have the authorized retailer you purchased the components mount them. Anything you get from us must be as we sold it to you (meaning unmounted) OR mounted by us to be covered by warranty. If you have any questions about a specific manufacturer's policy, please ask!

We're happy to refund the cost of returned BRAND NEW merchandise using the method you used to pay for it, within 30 days. 
Your refund may be subject to a 15% restocking fee, usually only if its an uncommon skate or uncommon size.  Most stock skates do not incur restocking fees.  We do not refund shipping (unless you cancel an order before it has shipped).  After 30 days will we issue a store credit, which never expires.  If there are additional charges for exchanged items or shipping, we will contact you for payment.

If you ordered the wrong size, you must pay the shipping to exchange it.

Used Items are NOT returnable or exchangeable.  Not even gently used.  Items must be brand new.

Custom skates are NOT returnable.  Custom skates include anything made in custom colors, widths, sizing or with custom features. Custom built skate component packages with stock boots and stock parts are sometimes returnable, however, but only if its a combination of components in a size that we can reasonably expect someone other than you to be interested in purchasing. If you have any questions or concerns, please ask before we put them together for you, and we will let you know then if your skates will be returnable.
