The helmets interior is divided into pieces just like a cake, with 8 separate parts wrapping the head and offering enough space for the entire helmet to adapt to the individual head shape of its wearer because a 54 cm head size does not tell if the head is rather round or oval. Refined technology for additional flexibility and lower weight. Obviously, the Krakens major benefit is its wearing comfort because the flexible interior is elastic enough to make as much space for the individual curves of the head shape as needed. The Kraken helmet surpasses the European Union and United States CPSC safety requirements, since it helps distribute the impact energy better than a conventional stiff helmet. The biggest feature of the helmet, however is the Flex Tech design. Most EPS hard foam helmets I try on dont fit that well or sit really high and awkward on my head. The Krakens Flex Tech uses segmented EPS parts connected via thermoplastic joints and a hybrid nylon chassis, so the helmet can adjust to the shape of your head. When I put the helmet on, it went low and snug on my head without any gaps or loose spots. With 14 vents, you'll stay cool.
