187 Pro Knees
|
187 Pro knees were manufactured
for vert skateboarding &
specifically pools and are endorsed by Tony Hawk even though 187 doesn't pay him to do it.
They feature orthopedic super thick padding. Pro-core
impact absorption, dual density interior memory foam, seamless hinge
for maximum flexibility and comfort, neoprene butterfly closure, ultra high-strength ballistic
nylon, durable double-stitching and super thick caps, totally replaceable. The cap "pour point" is also
on the side (instead of on the top, where there is already a lot of stress) for these, so they are
much harder to crack, and easier to replace if they do. But we haven't
replaced any yet. And the seams on these are turned in, so they don't leave irritating marks on your legs.

Rector "FAT BOY" Knee Pads

Rector Fat Boy Pads were manufactured for vert skateboarding &
specifically pools. They feature orthopedic super thick padding, including a donut ring of padding
2" thick between your kneecap and the cap of the pads. Sturdier than Pro-tec, with wrap-around
neoprene butterfly back flaps & heavy-duty double-stitched elastic/velcro straps to tighten.
These fit over your legs, rather than pulling on over your foot.
Choose a snug fit for the best protection. Fat Boy knee pads run SMALL (relative to the other brands we carry).

rivets, and webbed adjustable straps over neoprene butterfly closure. These fit

"Hi Trish - I got the 187's and gladiator knee braces from you guys just before our bout in Sacramento that you and Ivanna came to. At first I thought the Gladiators were too small but they just fit really snug. With those babies and the 187's I've been able to skate our bouts in Sacramento and Chico and do all our drills at practice without hurting my knee. I had a complete tear of the PCL in my right knee at practice in January so knee pads are really important to me now. I'm starting to get my confidence level back since I'm not so worried about my knee all the time and I just wanted to say thank you. I guess that's why those ones are out of stock huh?
